Loose Watercolor Poppies

Learn basic watercolor techniques as you focus on painting loose poppies. Poppies are an iconic California wildflower, and they are full of personality. They are so much fun to paint! You will begin with the basics and then move on to your final painting. Heidi will lead you through warm-up exercises, and demonstrate wet-in-wet painting and various other watercolor techniques. You will paint a flowing, loose, bright poppy full of movement and light, as you create with color, water, and your playful spirit.
During class you will be working from photographs, which Heidi will provide, and the photos help to visualize the images in 2D. All levels are welcome, no prior experience necessary! All materials provided in class.

No need to worry about purchasing or bringing anything to class. All tools, materials, and supplies, which are specially curated by Heidi, are provided in class. You will arrive to find your own individual watercolor work-station ready with everything you need.
