ClassGraphic Dichroic glass is a luminous, sparkling glass that changes color depending on how you look at it. In this workshop students will learn to make several different fused jewelry pieces using dichroic glass. Learn to cut the glass and assemble the pieces as you learn about glass fusing, how to add inclusions, drill holes in glass, and how to add the  jewelry findings we provide to turn your work into pendants and earrings. We’ll explore cold working techniques with our specialty glass power tools to give your pieces a more professional finish. After your first class, we’ll fire the pieces you made so that you can see the results when you return the next week. Since each firing takes around 8 hours, we’ll fire the second week’s work after class. 
Students may pick up pieces ten days after the last class to allow for firing time. Allow 15-20 minutes at pickup time to add finishing touches such as drilling holes and attaching hardware to your pieces.

Total cost for materials will vary within the stated range and is based on the silver market. Materials include and include dichroic and colored glass, earring and pendant findings, consumables and kiln firing.

No experience necessary.  Class size is limited so register early!
