Are you ready to take the leap and present your art to the public? Good for you! Just in time for the application season this workshop will help you prepare, apply, and ultimately have great success showing and selling your jewelry, ceramics, paintings, or any artwork at festivals, fairs, and open studio events. Learn how to get started, whether you’re thinking about Open Studios, our local art and wine festivals, or perhaps expanding beyond our local region and going on the road! Topics covered include:

  • Understanding the application process

  • The importance of excellent photography

  • Basic concepts for booth design and layout

  • Display ideas and packing lists

  • Pricing your work and taking payments

  • Legal, insurance, tax issues to consider

There will be plenty of time for questions and answers, and an opportunity to discuss what your next steps will be. Bring your lunch for our mid-day break.
