Setting Pearls in Silver Metal Clay

Pearls add a special touch to your silver metal clay jewelry, but they require a special setting technique. Learn to create a dimensional pendant and prepare it for adding a lustrous pearl. You’ll learn to texture, shape and finish silver metal clay as well as special considerations when adding pearls. 
Because of firing constraints, you’ll pick up your piece about a week after class. Allow about 15 minutes when you pick up to add patina and do the final setting of your pearl.
A $80-$120 materials fee payable in class. Total cost for materials will vary depending on which project you choose and include fine silver metal clay, cultured pearl, silver wire, consumables, handouts, and use of all tools and equipment.
