Step into a cozy world of aroma, flavor, and wellness. In this hands-on version of “afternoon tea” you’ll sip, blend, and discover the ancient art and modern magic of loose-leaf tea. Elizabeth will guide you through her favorite functional tea blends designed to boost your mood, calm your system, and nourish your body—with flavors so good you’ll forget they’re actually good for you. Learn how to source high-quality herbs and spices, which ingredients work best together for flavor and function, how to brew loose-leaf tea without the fuss or mess, and how to create your own chai latte masterpiece with plant-based milks. As a group the class will create and taste five signature blends: Spice House Chai – warming, energizing, and perfect for your homemade latte; Mint Moringa – a caffeine-free refreshment that supports digestion and vitality; Happy Heart – a calming, heart-friendly blend full of floral notes; and Chamomile Calm – your go-to blend for winding down and stress relief.

You’ll leave with a list of herbs used in class and their health properties, recipes, sources for purchasing ingredients, a mason jar full of each of our custom blends, or your own unique creations, perfect for holiday gift giving. Our customizable labels and ready-to-go tea bags are sure to make your blends extra giftable. Whether you're a tea newbie or a seasoned sipper, this workshop is your invitation to slow down, connect, and savor the delight in every cup.
