Leverage techniques to become a discerning guardian of your flock’s health. Instead of relying on conflicting online forums or "keyboard warrior" advice, you will learn to navigate professional medical terminology and distinguish evidence-based treatments from common backyard myths. You will master the art of triage, learning exactly which clinical signs indicate an at-home intervention and which necessitate immediate professional veterinary care. You will perform professional "head-to-toe" physical examinations on adult birds, establishing the baseline health markers necessary to recognize distress early. You will dive deep into common poultry ailments, focusing on effective wound management and metabolic conditions while debunking the efficacy of over-hyped supplements. You will learn to assemble a professional-grade first aid kit centered on high-utility medical supplies rather than forum-fed fads. By the end of this session, you will be equipped to provide stable, evidence-based care and act as a knowledgeable, prepared partner to your avian veterinarian.
