ClassGraphic Designed for practitioners, community members, and students in mental health, human care, and wellness programs this introductory course provides a clear, evidence-informed overview of psychedelic healing with a focus on ketamine-assisted therapy. The workshop will provide a foundational understanding of this emerging field, and emphasize education, clinical context, and current best practices.You will learn the history and science behind psychedelic-assisted therapies; core principles such as set, setting, and therapeutic framing; and the pharmacology and therapeutic applications of ketamine. The workshop will also explore how psychedelic experiences can influence neuroplasticity, emotional processing, and behavioral change within a structured therapeutic environment. Topics include:

  • Overview of psychedelic healing and current research trends
  • Pharmacology and clinical uses of ketamine
  • Set, setting, and safety considerations
  • Preparation and integration principles
  • Ethical and legal considerations
  • The role of interdisciplinary care in psychedelic-assisted therapy

You will leave with a foundational understanding of the theory and practice of ketamine-assisted therapy and a broader understanding of how psychedelic modalities are being incorporated into modern mental health and wellness care.
