Explore body mapping as a powerful art-based practice for self-reflection, emotional wellness, and meaning-making. This experiential workshop introduces how creative expression can support mental health, offering art as both a therapeutic tool used in sessions and a personal practice that can be continued independently. You will be guided through a grounding meditation that includes a gentle body scan and a reflective timeline of your lived experience, inviting awareness of memories, sensations, and emotional patterns held in the body. Visual prompts encourage the use of color, symbol, imagery, and pattern to represent personal stories and inner landscapes. You will trace a life-sized outline of your body onto paper and use a variety of art materials to paint, draw, collage, and layer meaning into a full-scale body map that reflects your unique experience. Class concludes with a group walkthrough of the completed pieces, creating space for reflection, optional sharing, and connection. No art experience is required, and all levels are welcome.
