Learn to make a gorgeous, sustainable, seasonal wreath using dried flowers and foraged materials. Jill will begin by discussing different ways to dry flowers and plants, tips for foraging material, and how to store your dried bits. Next, she’ll demonstrate different methods of constructing wreaths using a variety of dried plants and flowers. You will have the opportunity to make your own 12” half-moon-style wreath using garden-grown dried flowers. All clippers and materials are provided, and you can bring in any additional dried material you’d like to include in the wreaths such as dried flowers or grasses. In addition to the wreath made in class, Jill will send you home with a list of favorite flowers to dry and how best to process them.
This is an all-levels workshop and no prior experience is required.
