As we age, many of us face new questions about identity, purpose, loss, health, and emotional well-being. This educational workshop explores the emerging science and therapeutic potential of psychedelic-assisted therapies for older adults. Instructors will discuss current research on psychedelics and aging, including their potential role in addressing depression, anxiety, grief, end-of-life concerns, and enhancing meaning and connection. The workshop also covers safety considerations, legal status, who may or may not be appropriate candidates, and the importance of preparation, integration, and working with qualified professionals.
Whether you're simply curious or seeking to better understand this rapidly evolving field, this workshop offers a thoughtful, evidence-informed introduction in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. No prior experience is necessary.
