Spend a delicious week with a Master Baker at Cabrillo’s bakeshop making a dizzying array of delicious baked goods! Learn to make delicious cakes, tasty pies, savory pizza, and other scrumptious baked goods.
Campers will learn the importance of teamwork and precision in the kitchen and to follow chef’s instructions. Come prepared to roll up your sleeves and work!

Each day includes demonstrations by Chef Stephany, and then you will work in teams to use your new skills to prepare the day’s recipes. Learn about teamwork, communication, organization, kitchen safety, food hygiene, the science of baking, and presentation, all while making, caking, and baking! You will go home each day with delicious samples of your baked goods, and take home a full recipe packet that includes pointers and tips about the skills and techniques you learned in camp.
Students are required to wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, an apron, and a hat, bandana, or hair net. Aprons and hair nets are provided in class, students may bring a hat if they prefer.
