The workplace is changing! Now it is clear that skills once deemed, “soft,” like the ability to communicate, collaborate, demonstrate self-awareness and empathy, are the powerful differentiators that can help you stand out above the crowd when searching for a job, and can make you more promotable than your counterparts. 21st century skills are considered by industry leaders, HR professionals, and educators to be the knowledge, work habits, and character traits necessary for workers to succeed in today’s rapidly changing work environment. And these skills can be learned and sharpened! "The New World of Work” is a 21st Century Skills Program that teaches the employability skills that all students, job seekers, and employees need to succeed! There are 10 modules in this program. You can attend the whole series or just those modules that are applicable to a skill you want to develop.

Below, you'll find classes currently open for registration. Please click on the course title to see the full course description, along with any special notice information. Sign in to your account to add classes to your cart, update your profile, or complete registration.

You will receive an automatic email with your transaction receipt and class confirmation following registration. Be sure to whitelist extension@cabrillo.edu to ensure you receive these class details.

All Extension classes are for students aged 18 and up, unless otherwise noted.
