Quilters Open Workshop

Do you have some quilt making projects to finish up before the holidays? Would you like to connect with other creatives and enjoy the healing and community aspects of quilt making? Bring your quilt project and Jo will provide skilled guidance, a communal and creative environment, and a spacious sewing studio. As you work on your individual project, there will be weekly tips and tutorials to help you expand your knowledge of quilt making, such as batch piecing and how to chain stitch blocks to speed up assembly time, and making mitered corners nice and neat! Jo will be available during class for any help you may need with your project.
Bring a quilting project you have already started to work on and need support in completing, or a brand new project that you need to get started!
Your materials fee includes access to the tools and resources available in the classroom. The classroom is a great space to create and sew, with lots of space to spread out, plenty of Bernina sewing machines, large cutting tables, ironing boards and irons, as well as basic sewing supplies and tools. Get those holiday projects finished and make some friends along the way!
This class is designed for those who have basic sewing skills, experience using a sewing machine, and some experience with quilt making or who have taken the Introduction to the Art of Quilt Making class.
