Join other like-minded photographers who want to advance their landscape photography skills. We will sort out the challenges of composition, lens choice, exposure, camera handling, and some of the unique challenges of photography in outdoor settings. Additional topics will include depth-of-field control, HDR (high dynamic range) and the use of polarizing filters.
With a professional photographer to guide you, you’ll capture images and make visual statements in an entirely new way! We will meet at Davenport to discuss composition and reading light, then setup to capture beautiful landscapes while the sun sets over the ocean.
Some paths are uneven and steep, wear shoes for hiking. Moderately challenging walks are required to reach locations. A hat is advisable. Bring your camera, tripod, and a polarizing filter and a headlamp!
Please see Class Resources for details about meeting place.
