« back to classes page
It’s essential to have effective communication skills in every aspect of your life. For health care workers, the quality of patient care depends on it. Whether you are receiving instructions from the physician, gathering information from the patient or providing a warm hand off to a colleague, your ability to listen, speak clearly and read nonverbal cues is imperative.

In this interactive session, participants will analyze patients’ and practitioners’ nonverbal communication and the effect it has on providing quality patient care. In addition, participants will learn techniques to develop effective listening skills.
