Fiber Beyond the Frame

Begin by wrapping a frame with fabrics and fibers, then add all sorts of elements within, around, behind and hanging off of the frame. Learn many fun and exciting techniques for creating shapes, wraps and protrusions to make your wall piece gorgeous and unique. In addition to the fibers, you can add on decorative elements such as beads, found objects, etc. You'll be encouraged and supported to go beyond art that you've made in the past, to develop a sense of experimentation and innovation, and to make something you've never imagined making. 
All of Vicki's fiber art workshops are unique, applying new techniques and approaches, and resulting in different outcomes. If you've taken Vicki's workshops in the past, and want to repeat them, Vicki will be sure to teach you additional/new techniques.
No art or weaving experience is necessary, and all levels are most welcome. This class is perfect for beginning through experienced artists.
