« back to classes page

Ready to turn your basic knitting skills into a finished project? This workshop is designed for knitters who already know how to cast on and work the knit and purl stitches, and who are ready to put those skills to use making a first beanie. Over three two-hour sessions, you’ll follow a hat pattern, building confidence and technique as you go, with some simple homework between classes to keep your progress moving.  Class size is small so that you can get the support you need to keep the project moving along and have the confidence to continue on your knitting path.
This class emphasizes the problem-solving skills every knitter needs—reading your work, catching and fixing mistakes, and troubleshooting as you go—so you leave with a finished, wearable beanie and a pattern you can use to keep knitting on your own.

Prerequisite: participants must be comfortable casting on and working basic knit and purl stitches.
