Bombolone are irresistibly light, rich, and delicious! They are soft, round, perfectly sized, and are made from a brioche-style dough. You will learn to make the brioche dough, which is enriched with butter and eggs, fry the bombolone, then fill them with raspberry jam and the sweet pastry cream that you make in class. Top your bombolone with powdered sugar for a finishing touch! They are generously filled, so much so that they feel heavy in your hand, but are so light and delicious when you take a bite! Go home with a box of fresh, warm, filled bombolone. Students will work in two-person groups to complete recipes, so come prepared to make some new friends! Students must wear closed toed shoes and long pants, and may bring their favorite apron.
