ClassGraphic Spain is famous for light bites, called “tapas,” centered around a fun, social way of eating and sharing food. Learn to make four different classic tapas to help kickstart your own tapas party! You’ll make Gazpacho, the famous cold tomato and cucumber soup from Andalucia. You’ll learn to make mussels marinated in a simple sweet pepper and onion relish, from Galicia, called Mejillones en Vinagre. From Cadiz, you’ll learn to make pancakes with little shrimp in them, called Tortillitas de Camaron. And finally, you will make a tapa of roasted vegetables from Catalonia, called Escalivada served on Catalan tomato bread.
You’ll leave with a couple portions of each of your tapas.
Chad will have his new cook book, The Mushroom Hunter's Kitchen, available for purchase after class!

Students must wear closed toed shoes and long pants, and may bring their favorite apron.
