Materials and supplies list:
One sheet Arches or Fabriano 140 cold pressed watercolor paper. Large is good - gives you plenty of
room to play with paint! We’ll cut this into 4 smaller pieces.
Board to attach watercolor paper to - about 16” X 24”
Tape or clips to attach paper to board
Watercolor paints: The easiest way to go is a Windsor-Newton travel palette with 12 half pans. You are
welcome to bring whatever you’d like to paint with; a regular small palette with wells for tube paints is fine,
too. A list of suggested tube paints is below:
alizarin crimson
aurelion yellow
cobalt blue
permanent rose or opera
French ultramarine blue
yellow ochre
burnt sienna
brushes
#6 round
#12 round
Pencil
Eraser
Paper towels
Container for water
Lenz Art is the local art supply store that I recommend to pick up these materials.
Parking is enforced 7 days a week on the Cabrillo Campus. Please carefully read the signage in areas where you park. Daily parking permits are $4.00 and can be purchased in any of the student parking lots from parking permit dispensers. Daily permits are only good for the date of purchase. Permit dispensers only accept credit and debit cards, no cash.
In alignment with public health guidelines, in-person classes may occur with modifications. Please review the
