How do I register and pay?
There are several ways to register and pay for Extension courses, including online, by phone, fax or in person. Acceptable payment includes Visa, MasterCard, by check or cash.

How do I create my profile?

For first-time users, click "Sign In", then "Create New Student Profile" to create your own username, password and profile. This step is required. Your Datatel login and password will not work unless you use this to create a new profile with us. If you have additional questions, please call 831-479-6331 for assistance.
 
How do I update my profile?
You may edit or update your student profile at any time. After signing in, access the link entitled “My Profile” to change any of the information. Click “Edit” at the bottom of the page. You may then edit any of your profile fields. When you are finished with your edits, scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Submit”.
 
Is there a minimum age for students in Continuing Education courses?
Generally, students age 16 or older are permitted to register for adult Extension courses according to standard enrollment procedures. Students under the age of 16 may enroll at the discretion of the Director, Cabrillo Extension Program. Please call our registration staff at 831-479-6331 with any questions.

Can I purchase gift certificates for classes?
Gift cards are available for purchase online for a dollar amount that can be applied to a class of the recipient’s choice.

Can my employer pay for my course?
Yes, we can bill a company or other agency for your continuing education charges.

Can I register for a class that is full?
Most Extension classes have a maximum class size. For example, a computer course is limited in size by the number of computers available in that classroom.
 
If you wish to be considered for registration in a class that is currently full, you can request to be added to a waiting list by signing in online and clicking “Add Me to the Waiting List” link next to the class that is full. If an opening becomes available, Cabrillo Extension will email or call you to finalize your registration.

When is a course canceled?

Cabrillo Extension makes every effort to maintain the schedule of courses as announced in our catalog. However, we reserve the right to cancel courses, change instructors, switch rooms, and combine classes when necessary without previous announcement. If this occurs, you will receive a refund if you do not transfer to a different course or class section. Cabrillo College is not bound by printing errors in our publication.

Where can I get directions to my course location?
Directions to your class location are found in the confirmation letter sent prior to your class start date. You can also find directions in the course catalog.

How do I print a receipt?
To print a receipt for classes, just sign in and select "My Transactions" and locate the class. Under "Action", select "Print View" and print your receipt.

How do I print a transcript?
To print a current transcript of classes you'll need to sign in and select "My Transcript" from the menu bar on the left side of your screen. In the upper left corner of the export link, select the format you would like and print. If you need an official transcript, please contact us at 831-479-6331.
 
 
What is the refund policy?
Classes canceled by Cabrillo will be refunded in full. If you paid by credit card a credit will be issued to your card. If you paid by check or cash a refund check will be processed and mailed to you. 

We will gladly process your request for a refund or transfer if it is received at least five (5) business days prior to the beginning of the class (unless otherwise noted). There is a 10% service fee, subject to a $5 minimum charge.

Please do not e-mail us your refund request. Call the Extension Office at 479-6331. We cannot accept requests for refunds or transfers, regardless of the reason, if they are received less than five (5) business days prior to the class start date. If you find at the last minute that you are unable to attend a class, you may send someone in your place.
