Take a mental health break and try something new! Glass fusing is the art of shaping, arranging, layering, and decorating glass which is then fired (fused) in a kiln to create decorative and functional glass pieces. You will have time to complete up to 6 fused glass pieces chosen from a variety of project options. Glenn will provide all the technical information and support you need while encouraging your personal creativity to make each project uniquely your own. No experience necessary!
Class size is limited and classes fill quickly, so register early!

Through a variety of hands-on creative projects, you will gain a solid introduction to the art of fused glass. The focus is on design considerations and learning the skills you need to implement your designs. Complete up to 6 fused glass pieces chosen from a variety of project options including plates, trays, bowls, plaques, and a wall vase. Learn about different types of fusible art glass and decorative components including frit, stringer, glass cabochons, iridescent, and dichroic glass. Learn to cut and shape cold glass using scoring and breaking tools, mosaic nippers, saws, drills, and grinders.
