Do you have a special rock, piece of seaglass or another complex shaped treasure that you’d like to set in a silver pendant? In this class you’ll learn the secret to making prong settings that hold oddly shaped items securely in place. The small class size allows for ample personal attention to create a piece of jewelry that is unique to you. You’ll learn to account for shrinkage of the clay and how to securely attach your prongs
After class, Creator Haven will fire your pieces in their jewelry kilns and pre-polish them with their magnetic tumbler.

You will return to pick up your finished pieces. Allow 10-15 minutes at pickup to add patina to your beads if desired.
The materials fee includes silver metal clay, fine silver wire, kiln firing, handouts and consumables. All tools are supplied. Bring a small treasure, no more than 1 inch in diameter. We’ll have some stones and other items for you to choose from if you don’t bring your own.

Class size is limited so register early!

Previous metal clay experience helpful but not required.
