If you’ve always wanted to learn to sew but didn’t know where to start, this weekend workshop will help! Your instructor will take you through the sewing basics as you make a pair of pajama pants. This is a perfect project for the newbie sewist that allows you to be creative as you learn basic skills! In class you will learn:
- How to use a sewing machine
- How to lay out a basic pattern
- Proper pinning
- Use of tools
Please note, prior to class you must purchase the fabric of your choice for your PJ pants, and other required items, so you have them with you for the first class! Before you buy any fabric, please review the Class Details for information about what types of fabric will work for your project, additional items you will need to bring, and other important class information.
The classroom is a great space to create and sew, with lots of space to spread out, plenty of Bernina sewing machines, large cutting tables, ironing boards, and irons, great music, good company, as well as basic sewing supplies and tools to help you reach your sewing goals.
Your materials fee covers basic sewing supplies that are made available to you during class.
