Dental Hygiene: Laser Certification Course

ClassGraphic Jenelle Paulo, RDH, BS, will lead attendees through the exciting world of lasers in dentistry and periodontal therapy. This course follows the guidelines of the Academy of Laser Dentistry for a Basic Proficiency Laser Certification and the American National Safety Institute for Laser Safety. This hands-on course will cover laser safety, laser physics, tissue interaction, and communication skills as well as hands-on techniques for success with laser periodontal therapy. Upon completion of this course, participants will understand the value laser therapy brings when used as an adjunct to scaling and root planing and can apply laser concepts and techniques immediately. This course comes through Advanced Integration and Mentoring and is recognized by the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
 
Gemini Lasers and materials for this course are provided by Ultradent.

LOCATION: Cabrillo College Dental Hygiene Clinic, 6500 Soquel Drive, Aptos. Allied Health, Room 2114.
Park in Lot P.  Parking permits are $4.
