This is the season for sweet, tart, beautiful citrus! Join Stephanie for a citrus celebration in the Cabrillo bakeshop and learn to make a perfect lemon curd tart with a torched meringue top. Prepare a silky smooth, creamy, lemon curd, then pair it with a sweet and delicate graham cracker crust, then top it with your perfectly toasted meringue. You will go home with your 9” lemon curd tart boxed and ready to share! Students will work in two-person groups to complete recipes, so come prepared to make some new friends!
Students must wear closed toed shoes and long pants, and may bring their favorite apron.

Please wear long pants, closed-toed shoes, and bring your favorite apron if you’d like! Students may bring their favorite kitchen knife to class, or loaner knives will be available for anyone who doesn’t have or want to bring their own. Students will work in two-person groups to complete recipes, so come prepared to make some new friends!

Parking is enforced 7 days a week on the Cabrillo Campus. Please carefully read the signage in areas where you park. Daily parking permits are $4.00 and can be purchased in any of the student parking lots from parking permit dispensers. Daily permits are only good for the date of purchase. Permit dispensers only accept credit and debit cards, no cash.
