Money for donation to Arboretum

Timer (phone timer is fine)

Blanket or cushion for sitting in group (optional)

If you plan to use your cell phone for photography, I recommend one of the following apps:

Macro setting on phone’s photo app, if you have a macro option on your phone

Additional Notes

Please be familiar with your camera functions or cell phone apps prior to class.

There are bees and other pollinators in the area. Use caution if you have allergies.

If you’re interested in learning more about the plants you’ll be examining, PictureThis app (iPhone) is recommended.

In the event of heavy rain or unsafe weather conditions, Extension will reach out to you by phone and/or by email no fewer than 24 hours before the scheduled start time to let you know class has been cancelled, or relocated to an on campus location. Be sure to check your voicemail and email prior to leaving for your offsite location, to be sure you haven't missed any communication from Extension.
