ClassGraphic Spice up your taste buds in this cooking demonstration experience where you will learn about the beautiful Thai culture, specialized ingredients, and vibrant, bold Thai flavor profiles. Goi will discuss some of the unique ingredients and demonstrate cooking techniques, and you will prepare the recipes as a group. You will learn how to prepare authentic, flavorful dishes full of depth and complexity using specially curated fresh ingredients, herbs, spices, and prepared curry pastes and sauces to add a concentrated burst of flavor. Learn about the flavor profiles of sour, sweet, and spicy, where to find unique ingredients, and how to balance out the flavors in each dish. Once you master some basics, and learn about ingredients, you'll be able to skip the take-out and prepare your own delicious Thai food favorites at home! Recipes and a resource list will be shared to help you shop for hard to find ingredients after class.

Please note the recipes prepared are not vegetarian and will contain fish, nuts, soy and shrimp. Vegetarian options are not available during this class.

Go home with a small container of the delicious items you have prepared, and the recipes and skills to make more delicious Thai recipes.

No experience necessary, all materials provided in class.

Students must wear closed-toed shoes and long pants, and may bring their favorite apron.
