ClassGraphic Roll up your sleeves and dive into the art of mouth-watering, plant-based sushi! In this hands-on class, you'll learn to prepare delicious vegetarian and vegan sushi rolls using perfectly seasoned Japanese sushi rice, homemade sushi vinegar, creamy Japanese-style mayo, tangy pickled veggies, and comforting miso soup.
Sharpen your knife skills as you slice veggies into sushi-worthy perfection, then get creative with vibrant, mouthwatering roll combinations. By the end of class, you’ll enjoy your own sushi feast—and take home a hand-crafted roll, a pint of miso soup, your new knife skills, and a packet of inspiring recipes to keep the sushi magic going in your own kitchen.
Students must wear closed toed shoes and long pants, and may bring their favorite apron.

Please note the following guidelines for culinary classes:

Students must wear their hair tied back, or in a bandana during class.

Students may not use cell phones during class.

Students must wear closed toed shoes and long pants.

Parking is enforced 7 days a week on the Cabrillo Campus. Please carefully read the signage in areas where you park. Daily parking permits are $4.00 and can be purchased in any of the student parking lots from parking permit dispensers. Daily permits are only good for the date of purchase. Permit dispensers only accept credit and debit cards, no cash.
