This swirly, creamy, lemony cake is a perfect fit for spring! Learn to make a tart, sweet, and smooth lemon curd; a perfectly light sponge cake; then learn the technique for creating the “swirl” by gently rolling your cake with freshly whipped cream. Ice with your luscious lemon curd, then decorate your masterpiece with delicate, edible pansies to give it a dainty, rustic look.
No experience is necessary and all materials provided in class. Students work in two-person groups to complete recipes, so come prepared to make some new friends!
Students must wear closed-toed shoes and long pants, and may bring their favorite apron.
