Are you ready for an overview of more than just the basics to plan and care for your garden? This is the second part of the gardening basics series, in which Jill will cover key terms and their application so you can follow a seed packet, and understand care instructions for plants that you currently have or buy from a nursery. With hands-on examples and demonstrations, Jill will discuss key activities for each season with a focus on pruning of shrubs, and seasonal care for perennials and annuals that will keep them healthy and long-lived. You will take home a multi-page guide including all of the above information, along with a list of favorite plants for sun and shade, a growing guide with the seasonal care for each plant, and a calendar of activities for each season. You will also take home one of the quart or gallon-sized plants used for the demonstration to start applying your new skills right away!
