Learn to combine traditional dying and hand twisting techniques to create beautiful and unique patterns. You will learn how to make patterns like the ring, sunburst, geodes, stripes, hombre, and spirals as you make a one of a kind tie-dye apron. You will explore several techniques and learn about preparation, folding, banding, color choices, and supplies. Dive into the creative process of choosing your colors and patterns, then bring your design to life. Melissa will share a quick presentation of images to illustrate different tie-dye patterns and ways to use the tie-dye process before you start your project. You will go home with your tie-dyed apron sealed in a zip lock bag, ready for rinsing and drying at home, as well as detailed instructions for the process. Your apron will be ready to wear the next day!
Your materials fee includes all of the supplies needed, including your 100% cotton long bib apron with two front pockets.

Please dress in comfortable clothing and shoes. You are working with dye, so expect to get messy! You may bring your own apron to wear if you’d like.
