Basketball Camp - Coed (ages 5-11)

ClassGraphic This camp is for youth of all genders who want to start playing basketball but may not know where to begin. With the guidance of the Cabrillo Women's Basketball staff and players, we will teach the basics of basketball in a fun and exciting environment. We will separate the camp into groups to ensure campers are playing with peers their age and skill level. We will run fun, developmental drills (stations) to keep the campers engaged and informed. The drills will give them an opportunity to learn what they can do on their own to become more skilled in basketball. 
After lunch, the campers will play fun games and then finish with a scrimmage to show them what it would be like to play in basketball games. Each team will have a coach to help them follow the rules, maintain good sportsmanship, and ensure they are all having fun! On the last day, we invite parents/guardians to come and watch their camper play. 
There will be a lunch break so campers can eat, have snacks, and/or relax (lunch and snacks are not provided; please send your camper with food). 
Bring appropriate gym attire, shorts, athletic shoes, snacks, water and your love for the game!
