Attention gardeners! Make your own “Bee and Bee” or “Pest Western” to attract advantageous bugs to your garden with fun-to-make bug hotels that support biodiversity. Anthony will share inspiration images for design, and share information about how these whimsical structures bring beneficial  insects like lacewings, soldier beetles, parasitic wasps, solitary bees, and ladybugs. You will use creative upcycled and natural materials to construct a unique insect shelter (approximately 16” x 20”) to take home or give as a gift. Class will meet at the beautiful Horticulture Center, high atop Cabrillo’s campus with sweeping views of Monterey Bay.
This class will close for registration 2 days prior to class to allow time for your instructor to prepare materials and supplies for you!

Bring your lunch and a drink.
