ClassGraphic Get blown away working with hot glass! Learn about the history of art glass, fundamental techniques of shaping hot glass, and essential skills for working in a hot glass studio, including equipment, tools, and safety. You will learn to create solid form paperweights, hearts, and spheres. Skills developed by creating solid forms provide the foundation after which you are introduced to the beautiful fluid movements and basic techniques for creating simple blown vessels. Small class size will allow individual attention and lots of hands-on time to practice skills and techniques. You will bring home several unique objects and vessels created in class.
