Mosaic Sculpture

ClassGraphic Create your own unique, custom-designed three-dimensional mosaic sculpture using architectural cement, mosaic tile, and glass. Learn to create cement forms, ready to mosaic using repurposed materials. Once you have designed and created your cement form you will use the wide assortment of mosaic materials supplied by the instructor to cover the surface of your sculptural form with a colorful mosaic. You will have time in class to complete one ready-to-grout lightweight piece roughly the size of a loaf of bread.

Jennifer will discuss and demonstrate how to use a variety of cutting tools, different types of glass, tile, and other mosaic materials. She will cover what types of surfaces are best for which types of use, how to select and use different adhesives, and how to successfully complete a project with grouting and sealing. 

No experience necessary! All tools and materials will be provided in class. All you need to bring is your imagination. Class size is limited so register early!
