« back to classes page
ClassGraphic Whether indoor or outdoor, anyone can experience the magic of making an herb garden for tea. Join Jill to learn how to grow, harvest, dry, and mix your own herbal tea blends. Guided by the seasonal rhythms of biodynamic gardening you will learn how to select and grow a variety of herbs for harvesting, and how best to collect and use them fresh or dried. After learning about the taste and properties of different herbs, you will mix and create your own teas. Go home with a list of plants and their properties, instructions for making tea blends at home, a journal with your class notes, two half-ounce bags of personal teas, and you may select two 4” nursery plants to bring home that will be suitable for a garden, a window box, or a window sill.
This is an all-levels workshop and no prior experience is required.
