Starfish, goats, and banana slugs - what do they have in common? They can all be found right here in the Monterey Bay Area! Through three field trips to the beach, the redwoods, and a local farm, you will have the opportunity to learn about the plants and animals that call them home. On each field trip you will practice scientific sketching, learn incredible animal facts including keystone species and habitat protection, and farm animal care. You will experience why our home, and its varied animals, are so amazing! At the end of the week, you will take home your sketchbook, field guides, a variety of creative projects, stories to tell about your adventures, and a brain full of local knowledge!
Campers will travel in Cabrillo College vans, driven by camp leaders, for all of the field trips.

This is an active, busy week so be sure to wear clothes and shoes suitable for hiking and walking, bring a hat and sunscreen, and bring plenty of snacks and water!

Register Early! Camps are limited to just 14 students!
