ClassGraphic Challah is an enriched white yeasted bread that is traditionally served on the Jewish sabbath, which starts on Friday at sunset. Challah is also traditionally served on Jewish holidays like Rosh Hashanah and Hanukkah. Join Chef Stephany to learn to make the light, fluffy, shiny and delicious braided bread. She will show you the magic of braiding bread, and you will get a chart showing how to make several different styled braids. The classic being the three strands but she will also show you the five and six strands. You will each go home with a whole loaf of this amazing bread to share with friends and family.
Students must wear closed toed shoes and long pants, and may bring their favorite apron.
