Cake decorating is a fun art and one of the most popular decorating mediums is fondant; a rolled sugar dough. Chef Anne will have a 6” cake ready for you to fill, frost with Swiss meringue buttercream, and cover with fondant. A variety of tools will be available for you to create a splendid cake that you will take home. This class is perfect for beginners and a great chance to make a Father’s Day cake for Dad or another special person in your life.
Appropriate for students 16 years and up. 
Please wear close-toed shoes, long pants, an apron, and hair tied back or under a hat.

Please read:  Please remember to bring the materials fee to class in the form of cash or a check. You will be cooking in a working commercial kitchen, so please be advised to wear close-toed shoes and long pants. Wearing an apron is optional, but encouraged! Please check the interactive college map to be sure you know where the classroom is located. - click on the buildings to see the room numbers! Don't forget that parking is enforced 7 days a week. You can buy a daily parking permit for $4.00 in any of the student parking lots from parking permit dispensers located in the lots. Daily permits are only good for the date of purchase.
