Leatherwork: Custom Leather Belt Workshop

ClassGraphic How do you get the right belt, the right fit, and the right color? By making your own! Belts will be dyed, hole punched, measured, and decorated to fit your size and personal style, or as a gift to someone special! Students will learn basic leatherworking skills and leather dyeing using water-based dyes..

Each student will design and create a finished 1 & ½ “ tall belt, and leave with the knowledge and resources to create more at home!  A resource list of where to find leather, tools and equipment will also be provided. No prior leatherwork experience necessary, but some sewing, making or crafting experience is helpful.

Please be sure to wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes.
