Photographing Autumn Foliage in Fall Creek

ID : 8333
« back to classes page

Come walk under the forest canopy alongside Fall Creek and encounter autumns paint brush on the foliage and sunbeams shining through the canopy. We will spend time along the creekside photographing and creating artist images with flowing water, and falls colors mixed with towering redwood trees. We will slowly work our way up to the old Lime Kiln Ruins where the big leaf maple grove should be displaying a spectacular show of color.

Learn to shoot in manual, blur backgrounds with a shallow depth of field, and capture movement creatively in the beautiful environment of Fall Creek.

Meet at the dirt parking lot off of Felton Empire Road, one half mile west of downtown Felton. We will begin the hike as a group no later than 9:15, or once all students have arrived, so please be on time!

Prepare for light hiking, as this class requires walking on trails and paths. Wear comfortable walking shoes, and dress for the weather. Bring a camera with manual controls, a tripod, and your cell phone.
