Watercolor, pen, and ink are the perfect portable media through which any place or setting can become a springboard for a spontaneous depiction full of life. As the light returns to us in the early winter, come add some color and light to your day at the beautiful Horticulture Center, high atop the Cabrillo campus!
Through demonstrations and practice in class students will learn several approaches that combine water soluble ink with watercolor paint to produce dynamic results. Learn simple ways to launch into using pen and ink, and discover the power of the imperfect line and how a simple blush of color can convey so much! Bonni will demonstrate and instruct various approaches combining watercolor with pen and ink, as students paint in the studio, and outside if weather permits.
All skill levels are welcome! Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Bring a stool, a sun-hat, water, and your supplies.
Please check the Cabrillo Extension Class Resources web page for a detailed list of required supplies and materials.
