Wildflowers in Watercolor and Ink

Join Heidi to explore loose, playful, non-traditional watercolor and ink techniques, as you create a wildflower painting full of light and color. Heidi will demonstrate wet-in-wet painting, and various ways to combine ink with paint to create flowing organic lines, shapes, and bursts of color. You will have plenty of time to practice, and then paint your final piece. You may concentrate on specific flowers but the project is loose, with very few restrictions, and allows you plenty of creative space to experiment!

During class you will be working from photographs, which Heidi will provide, and the photos help to visualize the images in 2D.  All materials and tools are provided in class, just bring your creative energy and imagination!
