Young chefs will learn to make delicious food from fresh ingredients as they gain skills they can use throughout their life! We will learn about and prepare fresh pasta, regional sauces, salads and appetizers all packed with bright flavors of the Mediterranean. We will work on foundational cooking skills, learn elements of professional cooking that can be applied at home, all while having a blast in the commercial kitchen.

Each camp session includes demonstrations and then students will organize themselves to execute the skills and tasks they have learned that day. They will also learn about kitchen safety, organization, the science of cooking, and food art all while making delicious sweet and savory items each day.

Each day students will enjoy the foods they cooked while eating outside, on the lawn or patio area, outside of the classroom.

Students are required to wear long pants, closed toe shoes, an apron, and a hat. If students do not have an apron or a hat, they will be provided in class.
